microRNA shown to be upregulated in multiple sclerosis
This miRNA is present in the blood, and has been shown to be present at significantly higher levels in people with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis, compared to healthy people.1 Because of this, this miRNA can be used as the target for detection in the development of new diagnostic methods for MS.
